Hi,

If anyone is working on a new Nim book or the second edition of Nim in Action, please share the link for EAP here. I understand Nim in Action code examples are updated to work with newer version of Nim. However, I hope more books are released in order to attract more people to Nim. A good candidate is a book like "Nim for C and C++ developers" that covers all the low level things. I can be a patron for such a book.

This is might not be formally released soon, but it is a book in development. It is written in English by a non-native speaker of English, which might throw some people off, but it is certainly an extremely valuable resource and a lot of effort has been dedicated to it.

Great question! I just started reading Nim in Action on Manning as a 'Live Book' and noticed its publication date ,2017. Seemed like it was published more recently (time is flying). It's helpful that the author, Dominik, helped answer some questions about his book in the Q&A section which is a feature of 'Live Book' but those exchanges have been from a few years ago. I believe the time is ripe for a 2nd edition. :)
