Mastering Nim, 1st edition is not available in India @Araq. Kindly persuade your publisher to do an Indian Reprint (of both editions; if that is necessary), so that we can get it here under a purchase parity price.

The chapter on "Mastering Parallelism" is good! I helped review the chapter (not that I contributed much as it was pretty much done), but here's my review that I totally wasn't bribed to write:

The mastering parallelism chapter is solid and should help even new comers to multi-threading master writing good multi-threaded programs that are fast and stable. You won't learn how to scratch every inch of performance out threading -- which would be a whole book itself -- but it's a good blend of practical examples and pragmatic advice.

P.S.: I am totally fine with review bribes ex post facto. ;)

I bought the paperback book from uk Amazon and can confirm it is the second edition - the publish date and cover image is for 1st edition which threw me !

Have you considered print-on-demand services? I have seen books sold through lulu.com and blurb.com. The book I have from lulu.com is of quite nice quality.

I do not know if you can set profit margins on those websites, but I would imagine you can.
