This really should be created as a GitHub issue and not a forum post. And feel free to try, IIRC the playground used to use ACE, but I switched it over to CodeMirror for some reason when I rewrote the thing. I think it was to solve some weird browser incompatibilities. And the word you're looking for is "embed" by the way.
