We have release candidates for the two latest Nim versions:

1.4.6 RC: https://github.com/nim-lang/nightlies/releases/tag/2021-03-31-version-1-4-598d9f84026400acb5cf51dd58aa7f19f50d34fa

1.2.12 RC: https://github.com/nim-lang/nightlies/releases/tag/2021-03-31-version-1-2-fe8b84496ffe40cd86b9db688cf5494187b437e4

Please download and test them, and report if you encounter any regression.

That... makes a lot more sense 😅 it's just the darn unescaped hash that tripped me up...

In Nim 1.4.4 Windows users had problems with cacert.pem and SSL/TLS (see https://forum.nim-lang.org/t/7551).

This should be fixed in these RCs. If somebody using Windows could test the RC and confirm, that would be great :)
