Since Nim syntax is so similar to Pascal, it would be easy for Pascal people to get into it. And since Pascal sort of "died", there would be ex-Pascallers who might be interested. It could be sold as a next-generation Pascal.
I also think people would be more likely to look into it if it was billed as a modified Pascal rather than as yet-another-programming-language.
Something like:
Pascal II
Super Pascal
Modern Pascal
Advanced Pascal
Hyper Pascal
Ultimate Pascal
I followed Nim since it was born as Nimrod, posted in Free Pascal's forum with the whole compiler written in Free Pascal subset, convertible to Nim itself using some self written tool. So, Nim is known to modern Pascal community.
And since Pascal sort of "died", there would be ex-Pascallers who might be interested. It could be sold as a next-generation Pascal.
It's not dead, it's alive and developing, just like Nim, with relatively big communities and is used by many commercial companies.
Something like: Super Pascal Modern Pascal
Name taken already.
How about:
Ellipses
I was going to use this name for a project I am currently working on which is a markup language for typesetting (Typesetting Markup Language - TML) books (like the symbol ellipses "...")

If you want to you can use it...but if not...nobody else can use it !!!! :)
