Use this: https://narimiran.github.io/nim-basics/
It's free and it already covers most of Nim (except for metaprogramming and generics, but if you're interested in game development (judging by your previous posts) you won't be needing those).
Nim in Action is geared more towards Web Development anyway.
Two chapters are available for free on http://book.picheta.me/ for what it's worth.

I wouldn't say that. Only one chapter focuses on web development.
I really like dom96 and I would encourage everyone to financially support his book.

Sorry. I didn't leak it. I just happen to notice its there.
@dom96 deserves payment because it is an awesome resource and it requires untold effort to produce a book.
It is also a shame that someone is denied access because of their situation.
The assumption we should challenge is that the funds must be provided by the recipient!
What do you think of setting up a fund that we could put a little money into and @dom96 can use at his discretion to gift a book to those who need it?
No idea about logistics, if nothing else we could let @dom96 we are willing and then he could contact us as and when. I am sure we could at least spare a dollar/pound?
BTW, isn’t it just great how I am nominating @dom96 to do all the admin :-).
Thoughts?

This is a really good idea and I would love to do this, but the logistics seem like a PITA. I have been planning to create a book give away every month (or so), if Amazon made it possible to give gift cards for specific items that would work (but they don't), other option is to sort something out with the publisher (Manning, I've noticed that the Elixir forums have a give away going on: http://manning.elixirforum.com/)
I think we can use our BountySource earnings to fund this as long @Araq agrees. But to be honest I don't really have enough time to be in charge of sorting this out, perhaps someone else would like to volunteer? :)
I’ll have a think over the next week or so and put some thoughts together.
I suspect the Achilles Heel will be getting the message that there is possible help out there. Maybe a sticky forum post, or a link on the FAQ?
BTW, this book should be front and centre on the main tool site as it is an incredibly valuable tool and it goes towards the maturity of Nim.
For me it was, and when I looked at rust, I was encouraged and aided by their book.
I think a good, well written book by the core team has a lot of good statements about the maturity and stability of the eco system.
I also read somewhere on here that the APIs in the book will be supported moving forward. That goes a long way to easing the the “no v1.0” concern.
And yeah, just generally I found the book terrific ;-).
