2101 :: trying to load a png image with SDL_IMAGE

  I am trying to load a PNG image using SDL_IMAGE. The only example I found is this: sdlexnim and this they are both not working since they use the old SDL library which goes into conflict with the SDL2 library when loaded into the same program. Does anyone know of any working example which shows how to do load a png image using SDL_IMAGE in nim?

  Second link is not an example — it's the library itself, part of sdl2-nim.

  To load image into Surface, just call

  targetSurface = load(path)
  Run

  or, for loading into Texture

  targetTexture = loadTexture(renderer, path)
  Run

  The functions for the official wrapper are the same which I posted earlier.
