Hey!
Been working on Beenim which is an native Matrix cross platform client written in mostly Nim (with a little bit of Go & Rust). Currently its early in development but it does support WhatsApp and Discord at the moment with the basic functionality. Some things on the roadmap in near future is encryption also in the content send over WhatsApp / Discord itself which means that Discord won't be able to read the messages at all, and also image exif data removal and similar and also more bridges such as Messenger support.

Would love to have some feedback
Are you planning to open-source this?
Also, why is the primary community for a "matrix client" on discord?
It's interesting to see how ambiguous the semantics of "Native" are. Slint is a very promising and cool piece of technology, but I wouldn't call it Native.
It's even funnier if you take into consideration that there's no such thing as GNU/Linux native UI. GTK/Qt are just conventional.

It's amusing. And no, no one should be expected to join a proprietary messaging network just to see the screenshots.
