Trying to keep up with new content in the forum is hopeless.
Can you please add a "subscribe to topic" function with e-mail notifications? Or at least let us "star" topics and provide a list highlighting topics updated since they were starred?
I'm using a web page monitor thing at the moment, and, well, it's a crap solution - every time the page number increases, I have to remove the monitored "page 1" and add "page 2" instead.
I feel like you're trying to prove something by building the whole site in Nim? - but building a modern, high-quality forum is sort of a monumental task in any language, most popular forum products have been years in development before they became popular.
I don't know why you don't just pick from the wealth of refined, free forum software and install one. What's more important here, showing off Nim, or providing a functional platform for a budding community to grow?

Been there, done that. Popular forum products attract a massive amount of spamming, usually don't support syntax highlighting for Nim and are written in PHP. If you want a more professional community experience you can use the mailing list. Most people seem to still prefer this shitty forum over the mailing list, but this can change and we made it clear we support both.

It's not about "showing off Nim", numerous bugs have been found in Nim (and its GC!) by developing this forum in Nim using the new async features. If we don't develop software in Nim and eat our own dogfood the quality of the implementation would be much worse.
