Good day,
I've been installing Nim from source lately and was wondering if I could add it as part of the base system by adding it to the proper /bin folder (/bin, /usr/bin, /sbin, /usr/sbin... whatever]. So my question is, from the source installed Nim, would it be enough to move all files from the "../nim/bin" folder to the system's /bin? or, are there any other steps needed to be taken? So it ends up globally available.
Well, actually a better option would be including the package, but that is not always up to date.
In fact, I moved from fedora to Arch for the purpose of this project, and recently the Nim package in Arch has been updated to latest. Though I still build from source.
The idea here is to set a "default" OS with the needed software to be replicated as is in different devices.
Thanks in advance for any hint on this topic.

Thanks. Will do check that!
Didn“t think about it....
Again, thanks a lot. Regards, noxnivi
Good day,
Yes, sometimes the obvious path is the last to think of. Checking the pkgbuild by Arch community clarifies the question.
Thus, this could be marked as [solved].
Thanks again @SolitueSF.
