8584 :: Nim snap status?

  Hello, I recently reinstalled my laptop with the newest version of Ubuntu (21.10) and as part of the process tried to grab a snap for nim and install it. Sadly while it mostly worked the 1.4.6 version of nim I got didn't work with the new libcrypto.so I had, version 1.1.1. I tried contacting the maintainer, hayden.barnes@canonical.com, but the email bounced. Does anybody know more about the situation?

  Why not use choosenim? There you can quickly switch between the versions, update easily, even point to a self build version of nim etc

  Maybe you should follow up in the snap repo, it seems that the maintainer is now working for Suse.
