  It's planned to use branches for future releases and to backport bugfixes to the 0.9.xx line. The main reason why this has not been done before is that nimbuild lacks support for branches, but we're working on that. ;-)

  Branching and backports would greatly improve nimrod's acceptance for new projects I think.
