FYI: I am working on a "conda feedstock" to make make the Nim compiler (1.0.2) available in Bioconda.

Note that Nimtorch is on conda. I'm not too sure if it comes with Nim or if Nim is standalone or if it just ships the C files though.

I'm having trouble with compiler configuration. The currently released nim-feedstock hard-coded the C compiler path for the VM where is was built. I am trying to find the C compiler at test/run-time, so far without success. I haven't given up, but if anybody has ideas, please post them.

conda install nim

basically works, but only for Linux64. And it needs improvement.
