4189 :: what makes the 0.18.1-compiled binary file larger than 0.18.0-compiled binary file

  on my Msys2 + Mingw64 on Win7 64 bits, even echo 1 gives different filesize when the same -d:release are used. So what makes the difference and how to strip down besides strip/upx?

  does not look dramatically to me. Try: nim c -d:release --opt:size --passl:"-s" yourfile.nim
