  Issues with httpclient timeout

  import httpclient
  
  let callav = "https://github.com/nim-lang/Nim/blob/devel/tests/arithm/tand.nim"
  var zcli = newHttpClient()
  echo zcli.getContent(callav,timeout = 10000)     # <---- fails
  #echo zcli.getContent(callav)                    # <---- ok
  
  # test102.nim(5, 10) Error: type mismatch: got (HttpClient, string, timeout: int literal(10000))
  # but expected one of:

  Anything I am doing wrong here or can timeout not be set like this ? Latest nim devel.

  Yes as you can see from the error message the getContent proc you are trying to use (the one that accepts a HttpClient as paramater) doesn't have a timeout parameter. (BTW The middle one is deprecated so don't use it.) You need to set the timeout at the newHttpclient() proc. For more info read the docs ;) https://nim-lang.org/docs/httpclient.html But its very straight forward.

  Thanks, that clears it up. I only was focused on the middle error message as it seemed to pertain to the issue at hand . As always reading docs is a real challenge... :P
