  Just tried installing Nim following the directions from here

  You CAN do better than this.

  For example why are you not linking to

  https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/

  rather than

  https://nim-lang.org/download/mingw64-6.3.0.7z

  Download what it says and run finish.exe. Can't get much simpler than that. And the mingw project keeps changing its installer. It varies from good to awful so I prefer to not depend on it.
