I have a Nim executable file that I somehow can't find the source for, but I have all its nimcache files. Is there someway to reproduce the Nim source code that this executable was created from?

I don't think there are any tools that could help with that. Always have backups! :-)

From looking at the xxx.c file in the nimcache directory I ultimately figured out which source code version the executable was created from.

It would be sad if it was possible as it would (probably) mean that Nim is just a syntactic sugar. :-/
