I noticed that the book has been delayed until 30 Aug 2017. Is this really going to ship at some point?

Yes. There should be no more delays. I have just finished reviewing the book index and they will be moving on with the printing soon as far as I know. So sorry about all the delays, but that should be the end of it :)
