Aim:
To discuss collaboratively any improvements or additions to documentation
(e.g., the two tutorials. They are great, but why not make them even better prior to Nim v1.0 :-) )
Requirements:
- Be able to discuss sections or sub-sections of the documentation, so that related discussion of a single aspect are kept together (like a threaded forum discussion),
- while at the same time keeping all the discussions related to the document together (because there may be discussions on other documents happening at the same time, but as different discussions obviously)
What tool to use?
- Github issues don't do threaded discussions (that I could see)
- Github PRs has everyone working quasi-separately rather than directly collaborating (are not needing real-time collaboration, but be able to see the everyone's additions/changes/comments). Also, may want to discuss ideas before making changings or additions
- don't want to clog the forum with non-forum discussions (also doesn't have threaded discussions within a "thread" where you reply to a specific response in a "thread")
- ?? (suggestions please)

I would discuss it on this forum, but if you're keen on having a "threaded" discussion, we can also try reddit.

In my experience if you're looking for collaboration, IRC or Gitter work much better. You may not need real-time, but it helps. ;-) Just compare how long it took me to reply here vs an answer via chat.
