Hi,

I'm the newest member for several hours now, so let me ask these questions before they start to become ridiculous.

Are there any topics present about this forum itself? How to find them? (149 topics now. A bit discouraging.)

How can I modify my profile? (Replace the abstract graphical pattern by a realistic portrait, turn ph in my name to f, name my medals for good behaviour, and so on.)

Will I receive any feedback on my posts by mail? (I guess I'll find out automatically.)

It doesn't seem easy to avoid bringing in issues that are clarified elsewhere.

You can't currently change your username afaik. You could deactivate and create a new one. But probably the "admins" can do it in the database :)

You change your avatar by adding a picture to https://gravatar.com/ for the email you used to register in the forum.

It is possible to get notifications about posts on the forum. I'm not sure how I have signed up, but I get mails about all posts.

@OderWat: That Gravatar site really works. Now you can recognize me on the street. Thanks.

I don't know if there's an official way to do it but I use IFTTT with a recipe like https://ifttt.com/connect/feed/gmail.

@jester: Can you elaborate on that? I don't want to be notified when it starts raining or the US president signs a bill.
