After almost 3 years, a new version of Aporia is now finally out!
This release contains many changes (since the last release), if you've used Aporia before you likely have been running the latest Aporia from Git HEAD so these changes won't be very new to you.
That said, the biggest recent improvements are to do with Mac OS X. Aporia is now available for Mac OS X as an app bundle and is in fact working rather well on it.
So yeah, be sure to check it out if you get a chance and let me know what you think. The installation instructions available on Github should be all that you need to get it running on your system.
Why Aporia IDE is licensed under GPL? Why not a more permissive and friendly license like MIT or BSD license?
Because when I started working on Aporia, Nim itself was licensed under the GPL. It was also mainly due to the fact that gedit and its many gtksourceview language files were GPL-licensed.
