Hi,

I'm new here and want to know when Nim will reach 1.0?

Is there any plan, any dates? There is a roadmap https://github.com/nim-lang/Nim/wiki/Roadmap but it didn't said anything about releass dates.

I'm asking this because it has been almost 7 years since the project started (correct me if I'm wrong) and language is still not complete.

Hmm... The post didn't mention anything related to 1.0 release and plan for it. It's an explanation as to why Nim's team avoid regular release cycle.

1.0 is far shot. Next release , may be 0.8.14 with critical bugs fixed would be nice.

EDIT:0.11.4 i mean , i don't know where that 0.8.14 number came from!??!

Well it will be definitely be before November the 10th, after that I have to retake my homeworld. (Just kidding.)

But seriously, Varriount is working hard on giving us automated release building and after that's done we can release 0.12.0. Hopefully this week.

Wow, does that mean with all of the issues in the todo.txt under 'version 0.11.4' fixed? That would be surprising (and super awesome!).
