14028 :: use nimble offline to install local package?

  I have a bad web conection, nimble install xx fails frequently.

  $ nimble install https://github.com/elcritch/merenda

  Warning Error getting official releases from github

  /c/tmp/sdfy-main

  $ nimble --offline install

  Warning Error getting official releases from github

  I can download the source code from github. But there are 2 questions

  1. how to let nimble always use local files - yes I can download all missing pacakges and decompress them
  2. how to let nimble ignores web connection

  You run: nimble install

  within the decompressed directory

  ChatGPT or Google would have very quickly given this answer
