  Progress:

  • Many bugfixes.
  • Standard library additions: Complex numbers, base64, heapqueue have been added.
  • The .build pragma was refined to be toolchain agnostic.
  • There is a new .bundle pragma that allows custom backends that run on Nimony's Leng IR. (NIFC has been renamed to Leng in order to fight the constant confusion between NIF and NIFC.)

  No plugin love in the report? 💔 Nimony plugins got ported to nifcore, gained genSym, and picked up public helpers like pluginName, pluginCallArgs, callArgs, forLoopCallArgs, and publicName plus for-loops got structured (forcall ...) input instead of the old flat positional mess. We've been busy!
