  I'm not too surprised that less people are filling out the survey. The questions become a bit bland (even if the results are useful) when answering mostly the same questions year after year. If it were possible to edit the answers from a previous application it would be less tedious, and more people might submit answers every year.

  Now that I know how important our official tutorials are for teaching I read them again looking for possible improvements. But they are well written. :-)

  I think one likely hump/friction point for new users is after they read the official tutorials, and then start trying to use the stdlib in a real application, especially if coming from a dynamically typed lang. I think it would be very helpful to newcomers if there were more examples, for more procs, showing different usages, preferably with liberal commenting. All these data points are very useful for figuring out how something is supposed to be used.

  Great to see these results!

  Seeing Nim-by-example as the number two resource for newcomers is more encouragement for me to get back to the rewrite of it I started as an excuse to use nimib and nimibook.

  I'm really interested to see the other entrepreneurs out here using Nim. I own a marketing agency and have been using Nim to automate the living hell out of my work and build and share tools amongst the team. Desktop apps, web apps, chrome extensions, you name it. Would be cool to see what other entrepreneurs are doing with Nim.

  does it means, no more people is interested in writing nim books/blogs? On the contrary, there are tons of books/blogs on C/C#/Python
