1216 :: Need help using module httpclient

  Hey guys! I've got a friend in #osdev(-offtopic) who has trouble loading bpaste links, so I decided to write him a bot that sends him a notice with an equivalent pastebin.com link if a bpaste link is said in one of the channels. Unfortunately, I have never been able to succefully use the htt protocol succefully, and as a result, httpclient is throwing some weird traceback. Any help would be appreciated.

  As a side note, if anyone has a better recomendation in terms of what pastebin to use, I am all ears.

  Which version of Nim are you using? Can you getContent("pastebin.com")?

  I am running 0.10.3 devel, and no, it appears I cannot use getContent("pastebin.com"). The program throws a stacktrace.

  That should be getContent("http://pastebin.com")

  When I was playing with httpclient a few weeks ago it also failed silently if there wasn't a trailing slash- as in getContent("http://pastebin.com/"). Some of the higher level libraries like these simply need more usage to flush out these sort of edge-cases.

  0.10.3 is pretty old. Try 0.11.2.
