Oh, have no fear, we'll get unique pointers should they turn out to be useful. I'm sceptical, so I leave it to Rust to try it out. My limited resources are better spent on a concurrency design that I believe can work. I have some ideas how to tackle it, but I haven't worked out all the details yet.
BTW in contrast to Rust's and Go's designers I don't really believe in light-weight concurrency.
